Mr. Ivan Kalema
Mr. Kalema is a Corporate Governance Specialist and Analyst. He has previously worked with Standard Chartered Bank, Barclays Bank Uganda and DFCU Bank Uganda.
He has worked as a Corporate Governance specialist/analyst with boards and senior management teams of leading state-owned enterprises, leading corporate entities, Tier 1 banks and donor supported agencies.
Mr. Kalema graduated with a BSc in Engineering – while at the University he was awarded a Uganda Institute of Professional Engineers’ award for best Engineering Student.
In addition, he is a Royal Charter from the IFS School of Finance (UK). He also worked on the Uganda Energy Fund set up by the Shell Foundation, DFCU Bank and Shell Uganda Ltd.
He has attended executive training including The Executive Director (TED) with Strathmore University Business School and ICSA Uganda.
Ivan has great experience in corporate governance, board evaluation, governance auditing and strategy development among others.
